Meet the Team

Cean bod-oy

Founder & Coach

Cean is a lifelong athlete who competed at the highest levels of national wrestling for over a decade. Years of discipline, competition, and adversity shaped the foundation of his training philosophy: developing complete athletes—and even better human beings.

Drawing on the lessons sport taught him, Cean has built a system rooted in long‑term athletic development, resilience, and the pursuit of excellence in both sport and life. His coaching goes far beyond improving performance. While several international‑level athletes credit him as a key part of their growth, his greatest passion lies in helping people—youth athletes, general population clients, and individuals in rehabilitation—build confidence, character, discipline, and self‑belief that extend far beyond the gym.

Cean believes every athlete has unique strengths, limitations, and untapped potential. Rather than forcing athletes into a one‑size‑fits‑all model, he focuses on developing the individual through progressive, intentional training that builds speed, strength, movement quality, and mental resilience. His goal is not only to create better performers, but more capable, confident, and adaptable people.

He holds a degree in Exercise Science, is a member of the BC Kinesiology Association, and is certified through the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). His mission is simple: help people fall in love with the process, pursue excellence, and become the best versions of themselves.

Michael kwong

Administrator & Kinesiologist

Michael Kwong graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and has spent over two decades immersed in sports, physical activity, and movement. Competing provincially in martial arts and training across a range of disciplines gave him a ground level understanding of what it takes to move well and perform under pressure.

Teaching martial arts to people of all ages made it clear early on that people come with different abilities and different anatomies. His academic training in nutrition, sports medicine, and psychology added the structural and physiological context to complement that experience, shaping an approach to rehabilitation and strength and conditioning that looks at the person as a whole rather than just the presenting issue. That range of experience made one thing very clear: no two people are built the same, and no two people should be trained the same.

Michael believes that lasting change starts from within, whether mentally, emotionally, or physiologically. That perspective informs how he works with every client. He is passionate about coaching and equally committed to continuing to learn, knowing that good practice and training is always evolving. With his passion for teaching and an even deeper passion for learning, Michael plans to pursue further education in physiotherapy.
