Youth Summer Multi-Directional Speed (Ages 8-10)
The earliest athletic investments pay the longest dividends. This program is built for young athletes at the exact stage where movement habits are formed, and it takes that responsibility seriously.
Grounded in Long-Term Athlete Development principles, this program develops speed, coordination, and foundational movement literacy through play-based games and age-appropriate challenges. Every session is designed to build physical and cognitive adaptations simultaneously, teaching kids how to move well, think on their feet, and develop a genuine love for physical activity.
KEY TRAINING AREAS:
Speed and Coordination:
Movement patterns and game-based challenges that develop body awareness, timing, and directional control.
Age-Appropriate Plyometrics:
Low-intensity jumping and landing tasks that introduce elasticity, rhythm, and foundational force management.
Multi-Directional Movement:
Lateral, diagonal, and transitional patterns that build agility and reactive capacity across all planes of motion.
Cognitive Development:
Decision-making and problem-solving embedded into every session through competitive, play-based formats.
Outcomes:
Athletes leave this program with improved movement quality, sharper coordination, and a stronger physical foundation to build on. More importantly, they leave with a positive relationship with training and physical activity that lasts well beyond the summer.
Junior Summer Multi-Directional Speed (Ages 11-13)
This is a critical window in athletic development, and this program is built to make the most of it.
Athletes in this age group have an exceptional capacity to acquire and retain complex motor skills. This program capitalizes on that by introducing structured speed development, foundational strength training, and reactive decision-making in a progressive environment that prioritizes movement quality before movement speed.
KEY TRAINING AREAS
Plyometrics & Landing Mechanics:
A progressive range of jumping and landing tasks including single-leg, double-leg, hops, and bounds to develop elasticity, coordination, and force management.
Multi-directional Speed:
Acceleration and movement efficiency developed across all directional vectors, with reactive and decision-based elements introduced progressively.
Agility, Deceleration & Change of Direction:
The full change of direction sequence trained with emphasis on deceleration mechanics, positional balance, and reacceleration control.
Strength Training:
Build foundational strength through fundamental movement patterns to support speed, control, and resilience
Outcomes:
Athletes leave this program faster, stronger, and better equipped to handle the physical demands of competitive sport. Movement quality improves across the board, and athletes develop the reactive capacity and decision-making skills that transfer directly to their sport.
Speed is one of the most valuable physical quality in sport. This program is built to develop it properly. This is not a conditioning program. This is purposeful athletic development coached at a level that matches your goals.
Athletes 14 and up are ready to train with real technical rigor and physical demand. This program covers the full spectrum of speed development, from sprint mechanics and plyometric power to reactive agility and strength training, in a progressive structure that builds the physical and cognitive capacity to move faster, more efficiently, and with greater control under competitive pressure.
KEY TRAINING AREAS
Plyometrics and Landing Mechanics:
Progressive jumping and landing tasks that build elasticity, reactive strength, and the ability to absorb and redirect force safely across single-leg and double-leg scenarios.
Multi-Directional Speed:
Sprint mechanics, acceleration development, and movement efficiency trained across all directions with reactive and constraint-based decision-making embedded throughout.
Agility, Deceleration, and Change of Direction:
Entry mechanics, braking capacity, positional strength, and explosive reacceleration trained as a complete and connected sequence.
Strength Training:
Movement-specific loading through fundamental patterns to develop force production, structural resilience, and the physical capacity to express speed under competitive demand.
Outcomes:
Athletes leave this program with measurably improved speed, more efficient movement mechanics, and the physical and cognitive tools to perform at a higher level in their sport. The gains made here are not just for the summer. They carry into every season that follows.
